Comeback and overtime victory at Spar Girona (78-80)

Valencia Basket staged a comeback during its road game against Spar Girona in Game 7 of the LF Endesa. The Taronja team struggled on both ends of the court, and although it always stayed close on the scoreboard, it wasn’t until the final stretch of the fourth quarter that it managed to turn the game around. In overtime, two consecutive baskets by Carrera and strong defense sealed the victory. Helena Pueyo led the team, while Chloe Bibby and Raquel Carrera spearheaded the comeback. In the second half, the team was without Elena Buenavida due to discomfort, adding her to the list of injured players. Despite the setbacks, Javi Torralba’s squad heads into this national team break—following a six-day road trip—with a 6-1 record in the LF Endesa.
